Our History

Established in 1894, the Hulman print shop, as it was then known, was built to meet the needs of the Hulman & Company wholesale grocery business. At that time, Herman Hulman, founder of Hulman & Company, was having catalogs made each week for his salesmen to use in the field. Because Hulman felt the printing took too long and he was not pleased with the quality, he decided to open a print shop and do the printing in house. 

For the past century, Hulman Print Services (HPS) has been the official printer for Hulman & Co., Clabber Girl and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and in June of 2001 we opened our doors to offer a full line of printing to the public. Today, Hulman Print Services is your full service printer located at 9th and Cherry in Downtown Terre Haute.   At HPS, we are proud of our past and excited about our future.  Come in and see how our experience and capabilities can meet all of your printing needs.
